A digital driving licence is normally accessed as an issued document or a virtual document through an official government service. The exact options and fields can vary according to the issuing state and the availability of records in the National Register. Do not upload your licence number, date of birth, Aadhaar number or OTP to this website.

DigiLocker is a Government of India digital-document wallet. An issuer-provided driving licence fetched into the “Issued Documents” section is different from a file that a user manually uploads. Use the issued document whenever the service requires an authentic digital record.

It is especially useful for selecting the issuing state and continuing with available services such as learner’s licence, new driving licence, status, renewal, duplicate licence, address change or appointments.
